The Menace

The Menace is a modified 1984 Land Rover 90 County Station Wagon 3.5 V8 named by my daughter. All the modifications were done when I got the car (in fact all done by Colin).The car is mainly used for greenlaning,trialling and play days as at 13MPG it costs too much to use very often.

Colour: White (or beige if you read the V5).
Seating capacity : 4 - 3 seats removed
Interior: Very basic it does have a radio cassette,CB Radio and sparkly new cubby box  though

Suspension: Coil sprung with 2” lift and 25% stiffer front springs
Axles: front axle is now 24 spline , with polybush front suspension bushes - rear standard

Fuel system: twin SU Carburettors
Exhaust: rusting
Ignition: electronic.
Lights: Standard + 2 front spots and 2 rear working lights

Ground clearance : 10 inches
Approach and departure angles: 30 deg /21 deg respectively
Cost to date: £3500

Performance:

0-60 MPH: Slightly slower than me.
Side slopes: I hope never to find out its limit
Descent angle: steep
Ascent angle: Steeper the better
Safe wading depth: its petrol lets not try it
Pulling power: mmmmmm V8
